A Flash Flood Warning has been issued for southern and central Utah due to anticipated heavy rainfall from monsoonal moisture. The National Weather Service has cautioned that the excessive runoff could lead to flooding in rivers, creeks, streams, slot
canyons, and areas affected by recent wildfires, such as the Cottonwood and Widemouth 2 burn scars. The warning is in effect from Thursday morning through Friday morning, with the possibility of extension. The town of Beaver has already experienced significant flooding, causing damage to homes and infrastructure.
