What's Happening?
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) has announced a four-mile closure of southbound I-15 between Kaysville and Farmington, scheduled to begin on Saturday night and last into Sunday morning. The closure is part of the Shepard Lane Improved Project,
which aims to construct a new interchange along I-15 to alleviate congestion in the area. During the closure, northbound I-15 will be reduced to one lane. The project, which began in Spring 2024, is expected to be completed by Winter 2026 and will include a diamond interchange, new auxiliary lanes, and pedestrian bridges.
