What's Happening?
At the Freshpaint 2026 art and design fair in Tel Aviv, a unique installation titled 'A wandering land – a network of relations' was showcased, highlighting Jewish-Arab collaboration. Curated by Yaara Raz Haklai, the installation was created by artists
Raghad Sawaed and Asaf Gam Hacohen, using modular stool units designed by architects Or Haklai and Enrico Chinellato. The project, initiated by the Hedonism Group, was built near Kafr Qasim, promoting a shared society through artistic expression. The installation invited visitors to engage with the space, fostering a sense of community and dialogue about borders and shared life. Sawaed's work drew parallels between organic systems in the human body and societal relationships, while Gam Hacohen reimagined borders as dynamic entities, challenging traditional perceptions of fixed lines.
