Sally Lou McDowell, a beloved community member from Akron, Ohio, passed away at the age of 94. Born in Youngstown, Ohio, she moved to Ada, Ohio, where she met her husband, Johnny. The couple shared 74 years together, raising four children and contributing
to their community. Sally was known for her artistic talents, elegance, and community service, including volunteering at The Florence Crittenton Home. A celebration of her life is planned for April 11, 2026, at the CVNP Ledges Shelter in Peninsula, Ohio.
