What's Happening?
Students from Berks County participated in the annual Sea, Air, and Land Challenge, hosted by the Berks Career and Technology Center West Campus. The event involved over 100 high school students from Pennsylvania, who showcased their skills in designing
and building robots to complete specific tasks. The competition featured three challenges: the air challenge, where students created drones to simulate firefighting; the land challenge, which involved building rovers to handle hazardous waste; and the sea challenge, where submersibles were tasked with collecting wreckage. The event aimed to encourage students' interest in science and engineering through hands-on experience.
