Azerbaijan has successfully launched its first-ever satellite designed and built by school students, marking a significant milestone in the country's space education efforts. The PocketQube satellite, developed by students from the SPACE Academy of Azercosmos,
was launched aboard SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket. This initiative is part of Azercosmos' strategy to nurture local talent and inspire young innovators, creating a sustainable national space ecosystem. The project involved 672 students from 41 schools, providing hands-on experience in space engineering and fostering a new generation of space scientists and engineers.
