The 12th annual 'Napa in Newport' event, organized by the nonprofit CureDuchenne, successfully raised $1.6 million to support research and care for individuals affected by Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Held at the Pendry in Newport Beach, the event expanded
to a full weekend for the first time, featuring a variety of activities including vintner dinners, a black-tie gala, and a multi-course dinner prepared by Chef Colin Bedford. The event also included a performance by 13-year-old Dillion Le, who lives with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. CureDuchenne, founded in 2003 by Debra and Paul Miller after their son was diagnosed with the disorder, has raised over $14 million through this event series since its inception in 2015.

A waiting list for the 2027 event is already available, indicating strong interest and support for the cause.
