NBA and State Farm Transform On-Court Assists into Community Support

What's Happening?

The NBA, WNBA, and State Farm have collaborated through the State Farm Assist Tracker program to convert on-court basketball assists into community support initiatives. Since 2015, this partnership has raised $4.4 million for youth and families across the United States. The program donates $5 per assist to enhance STEM learning and wellness spaces in schools and afterschool programs. Recent efforts include the donation of new STEAM and wellness rooms at Chalmers Steam Elementary in Chicago, Illinois, and the dedication of a newly renovated STEAM lab at Quest to Learn in partnership with Heart of America. The program also made significant contributions during the 2025 NBA All-Star game, with each assist generating $1,900 for local Boys & Girls Clubs.
