What's Happening?
The city of Naperville is inviting students to apply for internships in local government, starting in November and running through July 2027. The program includes student representative positions on various city boards and commissions, as well as Chief
of Staff internships with Mayor Scott Wehrli’s office. A total of 24 positions are available across different boards, including the Advisory Commission on Disabilities and the Planning and Zoning Commission. The initiative aims to foster youth leadership and civic engagement, with the program kicking off with the KidsMatter Leadership Academy.
