GIT Coatings, a leader in biocide-free, graphene-based marine coatings, has opened its new Global Headquarters and Flagship Operations in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada. The facility, which is ten times larger than its previous headquarters, will allow
the company to scale its manufacturing, research and development, quality control, and global support functions. During the opening event, GIT Coatings announced an additional $5 million in funding from Export Development Canada (EDC) to further expand its global market presence. The company's graphene-based technologies are currently applied to over 500 vessels across more than 20 countries, helping shipowners reduce fuel consumption, cut CO2 emissions, and eliminate toxic copper and silicon oil release from oceans.
