Daimler Truck, Hamburger Hafen und Logistik (HHLA), and Kawasaki Heavy Industries have signed a memorandum of understanding to develop a liquid hydrogen supply chain for Europe. The agreement, signed at
the Hydrogen Technology World Expo in Hamburg, aims to facilitate the import of liquid hydrogen from producing countries to Germany via the Port of Hamburg. The partnership will explore logistical requirements for transshipment and transport by road and rail, with the goal of forming a consortium that spans the entire hydrogen value chain.
