What's Happening?
The MRaISR project, a collaboration between Boeing, Insitu, and the Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research (TNO), is advancing multi-mode radar capabilities. Supported by the Dutch Ministries
of Economic Affairs and Defense, the project focuses on developing a low Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP) Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) with advanced capabilities. The radar has been successfully tested in various modes, including airborne SAR image collection and Ground Moving Target Indicator (GMTI). The project aligns with the Dutch Strategy for Industry and Innovation 2025-2029, aiming to enhance situational awareness and operational effectiveness in defense operations.
