over 50 years. He also served as Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Rochester, Deputy Town Attorney for Irondequoit, and Attorney for the Ridge Culver Fire Department. Born in Rochester on December 8, 1942, Hardies attended Irondequoit High School, The College of William and Mary, and the University at Buffalo School of Law. He was an avid fisherman and golf enthusiast, and a lifelong fan of the Red Sox. Hardies is survived by his wife Judy, son Rob, grandson Nicolas, sister Nancy Hardies, and brother- and sister-in-law Don and Linda Snell. A celebration of his life is scheduled for June 13 at Dreier-Giltner Funeral Home in Rochester.
