What's Happening?
Luxury hospitality group Aman is set to open its first property in Mexico, the Amanvari resort, in spring 2026. Located near Los Cabos on the East Cape of Baja California, the resort will be part of the Costa Palmas complex, which includes a yacht club and the Four Seasons Resort Los Cabos. Amanvari will feature 18 casita accommodations with sea and mountain views, branded residences with private pools, and multiple dining venues offering Italian, Japanese, and Baja-inspired cuisine. The resort will also include a spa with a temazcal sweat lodge and yoga pavilion.
Why It's Important?
The opening of Amanvari marks a significant expansion for Aman into the Mexican market, potentially boosting local tourism and economic activity. The resort's luxury offerings and unique location may attract high-end travelers, contributing to the region's reputation as a premier destination. This development aligns with broader trends in the hospitality industry, where luxury brands are increasingly seeking to establish a presence in emerging markets. The resort's focus on diverse dining and wellness experiences reflects growing consumer demand for holistic travel experiences.
