This move allows the company to scale its manufacturing, research and development, quality control, and global support functions under a carbon-neutral roof. During the opening event, GIT Coatings announced an additional $5 million in funding from Export Development Canada (EDC) to enhance its global market presence and export capabilities. The company’s technologies are currently applied to over 500 vessels across more than 20 countries, helping shipowners reduce fuel consumption, cut CO2 emissions, and eliminate toxic copper and silicon oil release from oceans.
