What's Happening?
The San Jose Sharks, in collaboration with Science of Sport, Tech CU, and the Sharks Foundation, hosted STEM Day at SAP Center, engaging over 700 students from various Bay Area schools. The event aimed to make science, technology, engineering, and math
accessible and exciting through the lens of hockey. Students explored STEM concepts related to the sport, such as the physics of a slapshot and the engineering behind player equipment. The initiative is part of a broader effort to inspire interest in STEM fields among young learners.
