Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, announced that the central government will support Karnataka's farmers without discrimination based on political affiliations.
Speaking at the International Trade Fair, Chouhan emphasized the government's commitment to enhancing agricultural productivity and income through infrastructure development and value addition activities. The minister highlighted initiatives such as the development of high-yielding coconut varieties and the establishment of 'seed villages' for toor dal. Additionally, the Centre plans to release significant funds under the Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana to support these efforts.
