The United Kingdom has successfully tested a new interceptor missile system, known as Skyhammer, in Jordan. Developed by Cambridge Aerospace, a UK start-up, the system is designed to neutralize drones
and low-speed missiles, particularly targeting the Shahed family of drones used in Middle Eastern conflicts. The trial took place in desert conditions similar to those in the Gulf, where Iranian drones have been active. The UK Ministry of Defense has signed a multi-million-pound contract with Cambridge Aerospace, and the system is expected to enhance protection for UK forces and Gulf partners against Iranian drone attacks.
