What's Happening?
Armenia is actively participating in industrial cooperation projects under the Eurasian Economic Union’s (EAEU) financial support mechanism. According to Gohar Barseghyan, a member of the Board for Industry and Agro-Industrial Complex at the Eurasian Economic Commission
(EEC), Armenia is involved in two of the 16 projects. These projects focus on developing high-tech manufacturing capabilities, particularly in the production of railway components for high-speed trains and elevator system components in Tatarstan. The total funding for these industrial cooperation projects is expected to reach nearly 9 billion rubles by 2026. The EEC is also working on refining the selection and funding procedures to ensure a clear and effective legal framework for these joint projects.
