The Ministry of Social Development and Family in Qatar has launched the national 'Digitally Aware Family' campaign under the slogan 'Their Protection, Your Responsibility.' This initiative, which commenced on Sunday, involves 20 national entities and aims
to bolster digital safety awareness among families. The campaign seeks to empower parents to safeguard their children online, promote responsible technology use, and mitigate digital risks. Concurrently, the Ministry unveiled the eSafety portal (www.esafety.qa), a centralized digital platform offering educational guides, awareness materials, and useful links. This campaign is a key component of the Ministry's National Strategy for 2025-2030, titled 'From Care to Empowerment,' which focuses on strengthening family stability and cohesion in the face of rapid technological advancements. HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Development and Family Khalifa bin Issa Al Kubaisi emphasized that digital safety is now a societal priority impacting child-rearing, mental health, privacy, and domestic stability.
