Judith Mae Binder, a respected music educator and former elementary vocal music teacher, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025, at the age of 82. Born in Philadelphia, Binder was a graduate of the Eastman School of Music and dedicated over 20 years
to teaching in Greece Public Schools. She was also a prolific musician and volunteer. Binder was predeceased by her spouse of 48 years, Barbara V. Erbland, and is survived by her sisters, stepchildren, and step-grandchildren. A celebration of her and Barbara's life is planned for July 2026.
