First Graphene Limited has announced a series of trial projects in the UK to utilize PureGRAPH® enhanced cement, produced by Breedon Group PLC. The initiative involves the production of 600 tonnes of low carbon cement, which will be distributed to various
construction and academic partners. The trials aim to demonstrate the material performance improvements and carbon reduction benefits of graphene-enhanced cement and concrete products. FP McCann will test the cement in concrete roof tiles, while Morgan Sindall plans to use it for ground slabs in London railway infrastructure projects. The trials are part of efforts to address the UK housing shortage and rising material costs by providing sustainable construction solutions.
