What's Happening?
Three pairs of siblings, Dalia Azugi and David Levy, Orit Peretz and Eyal Radia, and Yael Fogel and Rafi Navon, have each lost two children in battles following October 7. As Israel's Memorial Day approaches, these families are sharing their experiences
of coping with the loss of both a child and a nephew. The families describe the close bonds between the cousins, who were not only family but also close friends. Omri Peretz and Niv Radia, for example, were cousins who shared a deep connection, with Omri serving as a role model for Niv. Both were killed in separate incidents while serving in the Israeli Defense Forces. The families are now united in their grief, supporting each other through the shared pain of losing their loved ones.
