Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated India's first Electric Highway Corridor between Mumbai and Pune, marking a significant step in Maharashtra's green mobility roadmap. The corridor aims to electrify major national highways within three years.
At the event, Fadnavis also unveiled Blue Energy Motors' first heavy-duty electric truck, featuring fast battery-swapping technology. Blue Energy Motors plans to invest INR 3,500 crore in a manufacturing facility near Pune to produce electric and LNG-powered trucks, supporting India's transition to sustainable freight mobility.
