Hilton has announced the signing of a 156-room DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Ashbourne, County Meath, Ireland, scheduled to open in early 2027. This will be the first DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in the Republic of Ireland. The property, located near Dublin,
will undergo refurbishment to update guest rooms, public spaces, and dining facilities. This development follows the recent opening of Home2 Suites by Hilton Dublin City Centre, marking the European debut of the Home2 Suites brand. Hilton's expansion in Ireland includes additional projects in Cork and Northern Ireland, expected to create over 150 jobs and increase the company's presence in the region.
