ANZ Bank, in collaboration with Griffith University and Amazon Web Services, is organizing a Hackathon in Brisbane on October 23-24. The event will bring together students, academics, and industry experts
to address the growing threat of cybercrime in Australia. Participants will engage in realistic cybercrime simulations, supported by mentors from ANZ, Griffith University, and Queensland Police. The Hackathon aims to foster innovation, build cyber resilience, and develop tech talent in Queensland. Winners will receive internships with ANZ, providing a direct pathway into the tech workforce. This initiative is part of ANZ's strategic partnerships with Griffith University and The University of Queensland, aimed at advancing research and workforce development in cybersecurity and digital innovation.
