Orion Minerals, in collaboration with BHP Xplor, is focusing on long-term exploration potential in South Africa's Northern Cape. This follows Orion's selection from 780 applicants for the BHP Xplor program. The partnership aims to explore deep copper-centric
metal systems in the region. Orion has also secured a binding agreement with Glencore for a $250-million prepayment facility linked to the sale of copper and zinc concentrates. This agreement is expected to facilitate the development of Orion's Prieska project, with production anticipated by the end of the first quarter of 2027.
