The training includes eight weeks of classroom instruction covering campaign development, volunteer recruitment, media coverage, and event organization. Participants will also gain hands-on experience by running grassroots canvass offices, hiring and managing staff, and engaging the public to build support and fundraise for environmental organizations. The program emphasizes making an immediate impact on critical environmental campaigns nationwide.
Why It's Important?

By training organizers to run grassroots campaigns, Green Corps helps build public awareness and support for environmental policies, which can influence local and national legislative efforts. The program's emphasis on practical skills and direct community engagement ensures that environmental advocacy is rooted in tangible action, potentially leading to more effective policy changes and conservation outcomes. This effort contributes to a stronger environmental movement capable of tackling complex issues and holding manufacturers and other stakeholders accountable for their environmental impact.
What's Next?
