What's Happening?
Lockheed Martin, in collaboration with Rheinmetall, has introduced the Fuchs JAGM tank destroyer at the Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) 2025 exhibition in London. The vehicle is equipped with 24 Lockheed Martin AGM-179 Joint Air-to-Ground Missiles (JAGMs) or AGM-114L Hellfire Longbow missiles, capable of engaging up to 24 main battle tanks or other targets in rapid succession without reloading. The Fuchs JAGM features a multisensor missile system with a range of up to 16 km, designed for precision strikes in various conditions. The platform, a Fuchs Evolution 6x6 armored vehicle, includes advanced features such as a digital electrical system and protection against chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats.
