The nomination process requires a completed form signed by the nominee, a one-page statement from the nominee’s administrator, and two one-page letters of recognition. The deadline for nominations is April 23, 2026. The selected finalists will have the opportunity to compete at the state level, with site visits scheduled in May to determine which nominee will proceed to the California State Teacher of the Year application.
