Porsche has detailed the high-voltage system for its upcoming Cayenne Electric SUV, which features an 800-volt architecture and a high-voltage battery with a gross energy content of 113 kWh. The battery is integrated into the vehicle structure, enhancing
energy density and vehicle rigidity. The system allows the vehicle to charge from 10% to 80% in under 16 minutes at up to 400kW, adding over 300km of range in just 10 minutes. The Cayenne Electric is expected to have a range of more than 600km, with prototypes achieving over 563km in highway tests.
