The Rt. Rev. Jerry Albam Lamb, former bishop of the Diocese of Northern California, passed away at the age of 85. Lamb served as bishop for 14 years and was known for his leadership in the Episcopal Church. He was born in Denver, Colorado, and initially
served as a Roman Catholic priest before joining The Episcopal Church in 1977. Lamb was elected bishop coadjutor in 1991 and became the diocesan bishop in 1992. After retiring in 2006, he continued to serve in various capacities, including as provisional bishop of the Diocese of San Joaquin. Lamb is survived by his daughter, Katherine Lamb.
