Deputy Adam Shaw and 911 Telecommunicator Michelle Colvin from Tuscarawas County were recognized for their life-saving actions during an emergency involving an infant in cardiac arrest. The incident occurred on April 3, when the Tuscarawas County Sheriff
911 Center received a call about an unresponsive infant. Colvin provided CPR instructions over the phone, while Shaw arrived at the scene within 56 seconds to continue CPR, assisted by off-duty firefighter Gabriel Ash. Their quick response and effective CPR efforts revived the infant, who was then stabilized and transported to Aultman Hospital by the Bolivar Fire Department.
