Emerson has been selected by Lithium Americas Corp to provide automation solutions for the Thacker Pass lithium project in northern Nevada. This project aims to develop the mine and processing facilities
to supply lithium, a crucial material for electric vehicle batteries and renewable energy storage. Thacker Pass is the largest known lithium resource in the U.S., with Phase 1 expected to produce up to 40,000 tons of battery-quality lithium carbonate annually.
