to receive higher view counts and user engagement, despite often containing lower quality medical information. The study found that content from independent YouTubers, which frequently utilized clickbait, garnered nearly nine times more views than content from public and government institutions, which was rated as more reliable and useful. This phenomenon, termed the 'credibility paradox,' suggests that YouTube's platform incentives may inadvertently promote less reliable health information.
