Seattle Kraken Appoints Nate Brookreson as Head Strength and Conditioning Coach

Nate Brookreson has been appointed as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Seattle Kraken, a position he has held since November 2020. In this role, Brookreson is responsible for developing and implementing a strategic process for performance training and monitoring for the team. Prior to joining the Kraken, he served as the Assistant Athletic Director of Strength and Conditioning for Olympic Sports at North Carolina State University, overseeing the strength and conditioning programs for over 500 student-athletes. Brookreson has also held director roles at the University of Memphis and Eastern Washington University. He holds an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Central Washington University and a Master's degree from Eastern Washington University. He is a certified strength and conditioning coach through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
