Robert Bettauer was awarded the Life Member Award for his sustained contributions to the tourism industry and community. Bettauer, with a background in senior sport leadership, has been instrumental in advancing sport tourism in Greater Victoria. The awards were presented on April 24, acknowledging the recipients' roles in shaping the region as a tourist destination.
