What's Happening?
Five charities in Clackmannanshire, Scotland, have been awarded a total of £300,000 from a joint fund created by public sector organizations and philanthropy to address homelessness. The Transformation Space funding, supported by the Scottish Government,
Clackmannanshire Council, and The Hunter Foundation, focuses on early intervention and prevention initiatives. Action for Children, Barnardo’s, Clackmannanshire Citizens Advice Bureau, Gate Charity, and Change Please Foundation are among the beneficiaries, receiving grants for various programs including family therapy, mediation, housing support, skills training, and work placements. The fund aims to break down barriers between separate budgets, directing resources to initiatives that tackle root causes of homelessness, poverty, and mental health issues.
