What's Happening?
The Traffic Enforcement Agency of Mandaue (TEAM) has bolstered its workforce by adding over 40 newly trained personnel. This move aims to address the shortage of traffic enforcers in critical areas of the city.
The new recruits have undergone a comprehensive training program to prepare them for fieldwork, which includes traffic management and law enforcement. TEAM's responsibilities extend beyond traffic control, as they are also tasked with ensuring order on major roads. The initiative is supported by the Mandaue City Government, led by Mayor Thadeo Jovito 'Jonkie' Ouano.
Why It's Important?
The expansion of TEAM's workforce is crucial for improving traffic management and reducing violations in Mandaue City. With the city's growing population and increasing vehicle numbers, effective traffic enforcement is essential to maintain order and safety on the roads. The additional personnel will help manage traffic flow and enforce regulations, potentially reducing accidents and improving commuter experiences. This initiative reflects the city's commitment to enhancing public safety and infrastructure management.
