The Trees for Climate program has reached a significant milestone with the planting of its ten millionth tree in Cumbria, England. This initiative, which began in 2020, aims to create new woodlands, improve biodiversity, and enhance carbon capture. The ceremonial
planting took place at Hammond’s Pond in Carlisle, highlighting the role of local communities in the program's success. The initiative is supported by Cumberland Council and various partners, including Raise, a neurodivergent-led organization focused on climate resilience and inclusive participation.
