What's Happening?
Taylor Shay has been appointed as the new coordinator for Bay College's Forestry Technology and Agricultural Operations programs, in partnership with the Michigan State University Institute of Agricultural Technology (MSU IAT). Shay will oversee student
support, instruction, and recruitment for the programs, which offer dual-enrolled certificate and associate degree options. The partnership, supported by a grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, aims to equip students with skills in forestry and agriculture, preparing them for immediate entry into the workforce or further education. Shay brings experience from her previous role as district manager for the Delta Conservation District and is pursuing a master's degree in wildlife and fisheries resource management.
