Shari M. Barranco, a long-time resident of Northbrook, Illinois, passed away on July 19, 2026, at the age of 96. Born in Racine, Wisconsin, she was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Barranco was married to John P. Barranco for 74 years
and is survived by her children and grandchildren. A visitation and service are scheduled at N.H. Scott & Hanekamp Funeral Home in Glenview, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Alzheimer’s Association, ASPCA, or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
