The Augusta Chronicle has opened voting for the high school Athlete of the Week, highlighting standout performances from local athletes. Nominees include Derrick Lane from Grovetown football, who rushed
for 217 yards and four touchdowns, and Addisen Odom from Greenbrier flag football, who threw for 221 yards and seven touchdowns. The poll, which runs until November 9, allows the community to recognize and celebrate the achievements of these young athletes. The competition spans both traditional football and flag football, showcasing a range of talents across the region.
