Edith Anne Gregory, known affectionately as Edie, passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 1, 2025, at Overlander Long Term Care. Born in Salmon Arm, Edie was the eldest sister to Hylda and Sandra,
maintaining a close bond with them throughout her life. She met her husband, Gordon Herbert Gregory, while walking home from work, leading to a marriage that lasted until Gordon's passing in 2013. Edie and Gordon were involved in various business ventures, including Budget Rent-A-Car, which they ran successfully for 28 years. They enjoyed traveling, spending time as 'Snowbirds' between Canada and California. Edie was known for her volunteer work at the United Church Thrift Store and her delicious baking, which she shared with friends and family. Her family, including her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, remember her as a loving and selfless presence in their lives.
