The Management Development and Productivity Institute (MDPI) has launched a series of workforce transformation initiatives to tackle Ghana's productivity decline. Despite significant GDP growth, labor productivity fell by 0.45% year-over-year in December 2023. MDPI's Director-General, Professor Elijah Yendaw, announced tailored training programs for major public institutions to address skills mismatches. The initiative aims to enhance productivity through practical training and mindset adjustments, positioning Ghana for sustainable economic growth.
