Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami marked the 25th Foundation Day of the state by urging citizens to pledge towards making Uttarakhand harmonious, strong, and self-reliant. The state, known
as Devbhoomi, was established on November 9, 2000, after being carved out of Uttar Pradesh. CM Dhami highlighted the state's progress in health, education, tourism, culture, environmental protection, and employment over the past 25 years. He credited the achievements to the people and protestors who fought for the state's formation. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Dehradun to participate in the Silver Jubilee celebrations and inaugurate development projects worth over Rs 8,140 crore.
