6 coherent optics, the network supports up to 1.6 Tbps per wavelength, engineered for dynamic scalability and workload adaptability. This upgrade aims to meet the growing demands of AI processing, data center interconnects, and hyperscale applications. The network also features AES-256 encryption and Quantum Key Distribution for secure transmission, reinforcing Oman’s role as a digital gateway between Asia, Africa, Australia, and Europe. Omantel’s infrastructure interconnects multiple international cable landing stations and carrier-neutral data centers, offering real-time SLA monitoring and automated provisioning.
