Ayan Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of the Ayan Zalaat Hotel & Spa, a luxury retreat located near Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Situated on a private estate adjacent to the Bogd Khan Uul UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, the hotel features 32 rooms and suites
designed to blend European craftsmanship with Mongolian cultural elements. The property offers a range of amenities including ten dining and social venues, wellness and cultural spaces, and immersive experiences. The hotel is owned by Mongolyn Alt (MAK) LLC, a diversified Mongolian conglomerate. The design of the hotel was led by the Mabetex Group and Italian architect Fabio Friso, incorporating bespoke furniture and Italian marble. Cultural offerings include the Ayan Theatre, which showcases traditional Mongolian art forms, and the Soma Temple, a spiritual sanctuary for meditation and learning.
