to donate a minimum of £15 when registering for tree collection. The initiative aims to raise £40,000, matching the amount collected in the previous year when 2,000 trees were gathered. The collected trees will be transformed into soil improver, which will be used on local farms and gardens. The collection is scheduled to take place between January 7 and January 11, 2025. Cheri Strudwick, head of income generation at Jersey Hospice Care, highlighted the extensive planning involved and the support of volunteers and vans to execute the project.
