Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) is evaluating a proposal to add more foot-washing stations for Muslim travelers in its international terminal. Currently, there are two ablution stations located post-security in Terminal D, which were part
of upgrades completed in 2019. The new proposal suggests adding these facilities to the pre-security side of the terminal. Katie Chaumont, assistant vice president of communications at DFW, stated that the airport has offered ablution stations for years without issues and is considering expanding this service. The project is estimated to cost $300,000 and would be privately funded. DFW is one of the busiest airports globally, serving over 85 million passengers in 2025, and is ranked as the second-busiest in the U.S. by Air Advisor.
